After being a licenced pilot for the past several years, Nashville’s Mayor Megan Barry has nominated the singer to fill a vacancy on Nashville Airport Authority’s board of directors.
The board that Bentley was nominated to sit on oversees the city’s international airport. The Metro Council will vote on Bentley’s appointment next month.
